About The Position

HJ Staffing is seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Worker to join our team and help maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and order for our client facilities. If you take pride in your work and have a strong attention to detail, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping practices, handling cleaning chemicals, and operating standard cleaning equipment.
• Must be physically able to lift between 25–50 pounds, as well as squat, stoop, or bend continuously as required for deep cleaning.
• State law requires a National and State Background Check as a condition of employment for this role.

Responsibilities

• Performing combinations of cleaning duties to maintain order, sanitation, and overall cleanliness across assigned areas.
• Cleaning, dusting, and straightening up designated facility spaces.
• Collecting, sorting, laundering, transporting, and distributing linens and uniforms.
• Monitoring and maintaining housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Operating basic hand tools and cleaning equipment safely.
• Strictly observing required safety precautions, especially when disposing of contaminated refuse.
