About The Position

Sorts, processes and finishes Guest Clothing and Employee Uniforms to exacting standards. Retrieves and delivers clothing from Guests for processing. This role involves answering telephone calls from guests requiring cleaning or pressing services, logging requests, picking up clothing from guest rooms, ascertaining the time completed goods are required, counting items, giving guests a completed receipt, and marking guest clothing for identification. The attendant will sort guest items for appropriate action (Washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair) and process the clothing on the correct equipment, using the appropriate temperature and chemicals. Once processed, the clothing will be folded or hung as desired and delivered to the guest at the requested time. The role also includes sorting employee uniforms for appropriate action, processing them on the correct equipment, and hanging and transporting clean uniforms to Housekeeping. Additionally, the attendant will operate and maintain washer, dryer, dry cleaning machine, steam tunnel, presser and iron, reporting any problems or deficiencies to the manager. Compliance with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct, and working harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors are also key aspects of this role. Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Laundry and Housekeeping.

Requirements

Ability to answer telephone calls from guests requiring cleaning or pressing services.
Ability to log requests and pick up clothing from Guest Rooms.
