About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston is seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a keen attention to detail to join their Housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Turndown Attendant. This role involves providing a comfortable evening environment in guest rooms by cleaning and refreshing them in the early evening and preparing them for guests to sleep in. The position requires the ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays. The hotel is a Forbes Five-Star team and is located in the heart of Back Bay.

Requirements

• Knowledge of housekeeping
• Good communication skills
• Physical mobility as lifting, walking, bending and moving objects up to 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude and willing to learn
• Flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Must already be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Applicants without valid work authorization for the United States will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides a comfortable evening environment in Guest Rooms by cleaning and refreshing the room in the early evening and preparing the room for the guest to sleep in.
• Has a set number of occupied rooms to clean during a shift.
• Removes used towels and replaces them with clean ones from the Linen Closet.
• Wipes down any wet services in the bathroom.
• Folds any clothing left in room and places it in appropriate spot.
• Removes Room Service trays, dishes and carts to service landings.
• Closes drapes, reduces lighting, turn music on softly and prepares bed.
• Restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery and pens.
• Prepares unoccupied rooms for turndown for arriving guests.
• Performs full Room Attendant duties in occupied rooms and late check-out rooms when needed.
• Ability to work, weekend, nights and holidays.
