About The Position

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Turn Down Attendant for the Omni Dallas Hotel. The primary role is to provide turndown services for guest rooms and perform any additional duties as assigned in accordance with Omni standards.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Prior housekeeping experience of 1-2 years required or other relevant environmental services experience.
  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead, and squatting.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure at all times.
  • Ability to report to work on time and when scheduled.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must meet standards of appearance and maintain a high level of personal hygiene at all times.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to all guest requests appropriately.
  • Greet guests warmly with a smile, addressing them by name whenever possible.
  • Provide turndown services for an assigned number of guest rooms.
  • Perform all functions of a Room Attendant and Housekeeping Houseperson as needed.
  • Provide full servicing of guest rooms upon request.
  • Offer assistance and information to guests.
  • Remove room service trays from guest rooms.
  • Restock caddies and refill chemical bottles for Guest Room Attendants.
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among co-workers.
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and organized appearance according to Omni Boston Seaport standards.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively in any emergency or safety situations.
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury or accident.
  • Attend all required department trainings and meetings.
  • Perform any other duties required by management.
