About The Position

Help Us Set the Standard for Exceptional Hospitality! Do you have a passion for housekeeping, a talent for teaching, and a knack for helping others succeed? We’re looking for a Housekeeping Trainer to join our Rooms team and help our associates build the skills and confidence they need to deliver an exceptional guest experience. As a Housekeeping Trainer, you’ll be a coach, mentor, and role model, working closely with Housekeeping leadership to ensure associates understand our standards, have the tools they need to succeed, and consistently deliver clean, comfortable, guest-ready spaces.

Requirements

Previous hotel housekeeping experience required.
Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures and cleanliness standards.
Excellent communication and coaching skills.
Ability to work effectively with associates of varying experience levels and backgrounds.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Ability to provide constructive feedback in a professional and respectful manner.
Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous training or leadership experience preferred.
Bilingual Preferred

Responsibilities

Lead new-hire training and orientation for Housekeeping associates.
Demonstrate proper guestroom and public-area cleaning techniques and hotel standards.
Train associates on cleaning chemicals, equipment, supplies, safety practices, and department procedures.
Coach associates on room readiness, productivity expectations, room status, and department systems.
Provide hands-on coaching and retraining when additional support is needed.
Train associates on procedures for occupied, vacant, VIP, and specialty rooms.
Reinforce proper chemical handling, labeling, storage, and SDS procedures.
Assist with HotSOS and other housekeeping technology and processes.
Partner with supervisors and inspectors to identify training opportunities based on quality standards, inspections, guest feedback, and productivity.
Maintain accurate training records and assist with training materials, checklists, and SOPs.
Support cross-training and department quality initiatives.
Communicate training progress and performance opportunities to Housekeeping leadership.
Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
