About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for the general cleaning, floor care, refurbishment and renovation of private residences as well as public areas when needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Pleasant personality and demeanor, with a desire to work in an environment with residents.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written assignments.
Ability to perform duties with limited supervision.
Self-motivated, able to schedule time wisely and accommodate changes.
Enjoy working with people, have good manners, and be able to deal tactfully with others.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Strong work ethic, fast learner.
Ability to work quickly and carefully in a safe manner, and motivate others to do the same.
Must be able to operate all power equipment throughout the VMRC campus safely.
Works in reaching or strained positions for about half of the day.
Must report to work in uniform.
Acceptable DMV driving record to obtain authorization on the VMRC-approved drivers list if driving a VMRC vehicle is needed.
