About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for the general cleaning, floor care, refurbishment and renovation of private residences as well as public areas when needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pleasant personality and demeanor, with a desire to work in an environment with residents.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written assignments.
  • Ability to perform duties with limited supervision.
  • Self-motivated, able to schedule time wisely and accommodate changes.
  • Enjoy working with people, have good manners, and be able to deal tactfully with others.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Strong work ethic, fast learner.
  • Ability to work quickly and carefully in a safe manner, and motivate others to do the same.
  • Must be able to operate all power equipment throughout the VMRC campus safely.
  • Works in reaching or strained positions for about half of the day.
  • Must report to work in uniform.
  • Acceptable DMV driving record to obtain authorization on the VMRC-approved drivers list if driving a VMRC vehicle is needed.

Responsibilities
