About The Position

As a Housekeeping Team Member at Schahet Hotels in Indianapolis, Indiana, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as furniture and equipment, and stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards, including vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, and cleaning bathrooms
• Stock and replace guest room amenities, such as towels and toiletries
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to management
• Respond to guest requests for additional amenities or services in a timely and efficient manner
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment
• Perform regular deep cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be ordered
• Assist in the training and supervision of new housekeeping team members
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and respond to any inquiries or concerns in a friendly and professional manner
• Attend required meetings and training sessions as directed by management
