About The Position

Sandpiper Hospitality (SH), a rapidly growing company in the extended stay market, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead their housekeeping department. This critical leadership role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, motivating and training the housekeeping team, and collaborating with the General Manager and other departments to guarantee a memorable guest experience. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Experience with hotel property management systems.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Ensure all rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards with attention to detail.
• Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring they are trained and equipped to deliver exceptional service.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure all guest needs are met promptly and seamlessly.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to ensure smooth department operation.
