About The Position

This leader is proud of the work performed by the housekeeping team and is not afraid to take out the white glove for verification. This person has high expectations and will not sign off on a room unless it sparkles. Their primary role is to train and coach their team on checking rooms and common areas by taking pride on a daily basis to meet the operational standards and ensure that the team and guests needs are met.

Requirements

Prior housekeeping experience highly preferred
Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
Excellent communication skills
Required to stand and walk for long periods of time
Able to use cleaning sprays, solutions and other products
Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Adhere to Makeready & property policies and procedures as defined

Responsibilities

Work closely with the housekeeping leadership team
Utilize the PMS to assign housekeeping tasks to the team and inspect the work to ensure standards of cleanliness are met
Create and adjust Team Members’ schedules to ensure proper coverage.
Promptly resolve any guest complaints or issues
Provide training to housekeeping team
Complete regular inventories to ensure adequate supplies are maintained
Maintain a keen eye for properly maintaining the property and continuously monitor areas of opportunity
