About The Position
Pinecrest is an upscale senior living community in Lufkin seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead their team of housekeepers. This role requires a candidate with experience in housekeeping supervision or a similar supervisory role, who enjoys hands-on cleaning and maintenance tasks for seniors, and prefers jobs with no late nights. The supervisor will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service to residents and smooth daily housekeeping operations.
Requirements
- Work experience as a housekeeping supervisor or similar supervisory role
- Good understanding of sanitation regulations
- Team management abilities

Responsibilities
- Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
- Screen, interview and hire housekeepers
- Oversee staff on a daily basis
- Check flats and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
- Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
- Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
- Respond to resident complaints and special requests
- Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach and rubber gloves
- Participate in large cleaning projects as required
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
