About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and oversight of all aspects of the Housekeeping Staff. This includes ensuring supplies are restocked, equipment is maintained, and a safe, secure, and healthy work environment is upheld. The role also involves updating job knowledge through educational opportunities and enhancing the department's reputation by adding value to accomplishments.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • Minimum five years' experience in working environment.
  • Minimum three years housekeeping experience.
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day coordination and oversight of all aspects of the Housekeeping Staff
  • Keeping supplies ready by restocking housekeeping supplies; ordering new supplies as needed.
  • Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with security regulations.
  • Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Enhancing housekeeping reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
