Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2–5 years of custodial/housekeeping experience.
  • 2–5 years of supervisory experience or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety practices.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn systems such as ADP.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with team members and guests.
  • Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a busy environment.
  • Willingness to learn and follow company policies, procedures, and state regulations.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain and maintain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect facilities for cleanliness, completed work, and maintenance needs.
  • Supervise custodial staff during shifts and monitor overall performance.
  • Plan, assign, and oversee daily cleaning tasks and minor projects.
  • Enforce department policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare reports on work activities and operational needs.
  • Support hiring efforts, including assisting with interviews and staff selection.
  • Partner with management to ensure proper staffing levels and scheduling.
  • Assist with budgeting for staff, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Perform hands-on custodial duties, including cleaning, restocking, and maintaining facility standards.
