Requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License
Minimum of 3-5 years of Housekeeping experience required.
Ability to lift, push, stand and walk for long periods.
Effective communication required.
Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental contaminants including smoke
Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assigned
Must be able to work with others, communicate well, receive direction, and provide feedback when needed to achieve department goals and objectives
Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with guests in a congenial and polite manner
Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times and to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise all housekeeping employees working on the floors assigned to him/her.
Perform daily functions within the department to assist the Executive Housekeeper in the efficient and productive management of the department.
Adhere to the Miccosukee Service Expectations and ensure team compliance.
Inspect all rooms reported vacant and dirty from the Housekeeper’s Activity Report, immediately at the start of the shift to determine if room status is correct.
Ensure that all rooms are being serviced according to policies and procedures.
Inspect rooms for maintenance problems and write up maintenance requisitions.
Assist in the cleaning and setting up of hotel rooms in an emergency or as dictated by business needs.
Inspect all “EXITS” steps and landings, soda machine locations and room attendant’s storage closets.
Supervise and direct daily duties of floor House Persons assigned to his/her floors.
Make sure that the “Room Status” is completely up to date at the end of each shift.
Ensure that the hotel is maintained to the accepted standards.
Provide to guests rollaway beds, cribs, towels, soap, blankets and/or any other room amenities that are available to the guests upon their requests.
Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
