About The Position

As the Housekeeping Supervisor at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, you're the person who makes sure our guests walk into a room that feels exactly right. You'll lead a team of housekeepers, housepersons, inspectors, and shift leads — coordinating the daily work, coaching people in real time, and making sure our cleanliness standards hold up whether it's a slow Tuesday or a packed weekend. This is a working supervisor role: you'll be on the floor, doing inspections, solving problems, and keeping things moving. Requirements

Previous experience supervising a housekeeping team in a hotel or resort.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30-50 lbs.
Clear communication skills with diverse individuals.
Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to remain organized and composed under pressure.
Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Assign and direct daily work for housekeepers, housepersons, inspectors, and shift leads, ensuring timely room turnovers and guest-ready public spaces.
Conduct daily room inspections, identify areas needing correction, and provide real-time coaching to staff.
Escalate recurring issues to the Housekeeping Manager.
Onboard new team members and provide refresher training on cleaning techniques, equipment use, and resort standards.
Handle corrective conversations with staff.
Ensure the team follows OSHA standards for chemical handling and equipment use through daily compliance checks.
Respond promptly to guest housekeeping concerns and find solutions, escalating complex issues to the Housekeeping Manager.
Track supplies and report daily to management on team performance, maintenance needs, and supply usage.
