About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for in-room inspections, paperwork, surveys, inventory, and scheduling and supervising the staff of housekeepers and laundry aides. This role includes the expectation for the Supervisor to continue training for more advanced management opportunities.

  • The ability to make quick decisions
  • Ability to operate a notebook/laptop computer
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures as stated in the employee handbook

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling of staff
  • Work alongside staff members
  • Encourage and mentor staff members
  • Order supplies
  • Inspect rooms for quality control
  • Update housekeeping and custodial sheets
  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities as needed
  • Communicate with Facilities Manager to ensure Housekeeping equipment is maintained properly
