About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for assisting Hospital Management Leaders in directing and overseeing the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department. This includes coordinating the tasks of front-line staff, conducting inspections, and serving as a liaison between administration and hospital departments to provide the highest possible level of service.
Requirements
- Bilingual English-Spanish
- Must be flexible and able to work weekends if necessary.
- Regular attendance at work is required.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience managing housekeeping staff in a hospital healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Assisting Hospital Management Leaders in directing and overseeing the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department.
- Coordinating the tasks of front-line staff.
- Conducting inspections.
- Serving as a liaison between administration and hospital departments to provide the highest possible level of service.
- Reviews/surveys floors to inspect work and quality cleaning.
- Performs any task missed by employees under their direction.
- Arranges to have positions covered for those employees who are absent or for vacant positions.
- Directs the work of the existing crew.
- Trains any new employees so that the work is done properly and completely each night.
- Inspects his/her floors each night.
- Completes needed work himself/herself immediately if work is not completed or done properly.
