About The Position

The new Hampton by Hilton in East Peoria is looking for a motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations, support team members, and ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Prior housekeeping experience preferred. Leadership experience is a plus.

Requirements

1+ years supervising a department of seven or more employees.
Prior housekeeping and laundry experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan, and assign work for employees.
Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve employee performance.
Oversees that staff is trained and observing all safety and security procedures.
Assists manager in preventative maintenance programs for guest rooms and public areas.
Responds to guest complaints, special requests and takes action to ensure guest satisfaction.
Inspects guest rooms/suites, linen rooms, and public areas to assure that the property's standards of housekeeping and cleanliness are maintained by employees to meet guest satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned.
