About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and oversight of all aspects of the Housekeeping Staff. This role involves ensuring supplies are restocked, equipment is maintained and operating correctly, and a safe, secure, and healthy work environment is upheld. The supervisor will also update job knowledge through educational opportunities and enhance the department's reputation by adding value to accomplishments.

Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma.
Minimum five years' experience in working environment.
Minimum three years housekeeping experience.
Minimum two years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Day to day coordination and oversight of all aspects of the Housekeeping Staff
Keeping supplies ready by restocking housekeeping supplies; ordering new supplies as needed.
Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with security regulations.
Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Enhancing housekeeping reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
