About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor (Multi-Site) is responsible for overseeing housekeeping operations across all NHF locations to ensure a consistently clean, safe, and sanitary environment. This role conducts routine site visits, audits, and quality inspections to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control. The Supervisor partners closely with site leadership, Nursing, Social Services, and Operations to ensure environmental conditions support guest care, safety, and overall program success. This position requires strong accountability, independent judgment, and the ability to drive consistency across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel, hospitality, healthcare, or high-volume residential setting
  • Minimum 2+ years in a supervisory or multi-site oversight role strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, infection control, and safety compliance
  • Proven ability to conduct audits and drive accountability across multiple locations
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and unannounced site visits across all NHF locations
  • Perform detailed cleanliness audits of guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and operational spaces
  • Identify gaps and implement corrective action plans with site leadership
  • Ensure consistency in housekeeping standards across all locations
  • Provide guidance and oversight to onsite Environmental Services Associates (ESAs) and leads
  • Partner with site leaders to address performance concerns, staffing gaps, and training needs
  • Reinforce accountability through coaching, documentation, and corrective action as needed
  • Establish and maintain standardized cleaning protocols and checklists
  • Monitor supply levels, equipment usage, and ordering practices across sites
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Enforce infection control standards and universal precautions across all sites
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, and NHF policies and procedures
  • Support site readiness for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews
  • Investigate and report environmental safety concerns promptly
  • Train and retrain housekeeping staff on NHF standards, safety protocols, and expectations
  • Develop consistent onboarding practices for Environmental Services staff
  • Partner with leadership to ensure ongoing staff competency and performance improvement
  • Work closely with Nursing, Social Services, and Operations teams to address environmental needs
  • Support rapid response to urgent sanitation or cleanliness concerns
  • Align housekeeping operations with overall site performance and guest satisfaction goals
