As our Housekeeping Manager, you will contribute to the overall success of our community by fostering an environment of cooperation and teamwork, leading and mentoring a team of Housekeepers, and visiting with residents to determine the quality of service being provided by your team. The person who fills this role will be accountable for all aspects of the day-to-day housekeeping operations of our community, ensuring all areas of the community are maintained at the highest level of cleanliness and order at all times.

Requirements

  • Commitment to Touchmark’s values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity)
  • Desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years’ experience in housekeeping management
  • Have a “can do” attitude towards their work and be passionate about maintaining a five-star site appearance
  • Able to read, write, and speak English in order to effectively communicate with residents and team members
  • Have the physical ability to perform tasks that require continuous walking, standing, bending, and lifting
  • Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors

  • Experience working as a housekeeper in a resort or retirement community
