About The Position

The Housekeeping Department takes care of women's restrooms, the general appearance of Westwood Country Club and performs both indoor and outdoor housekeeping duties. The role involves working in assigned areas and taking direction from the House and Grounds Assistant Manager/management team. Maintaining a groomed appearance and wearing the approved uniform at all times while on Club property is required. This is a non-exempt, hourly position and requires availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

Ability to work in heat and cold for extended periods of time.
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Ability to stand and work in a hot, humid, and sometimes loud environment.
Must be able to follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to communicate effectively, some English preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive direction from House & Grounds Management Team to maintain the cleanliness of the Club including the Main Club House, Offices, Tennis Center, Tennis Courts, Pool, and Marina.
Clean, maintain and resupply all the facilities throughout the Club including Main Club House, Offices, Tennis Center, Tennis Courts, Pool, and Marina.
Clean and maintain linens and towel inventories as needed.
Clean hot tubs, steam rooms, and supply necessary towels in locker rooms.
Perform other duties / tasks as assigned by the House and Grounds management team.
Empties wastebaskets.
Wipe /clean all windowsills, chairs, walls, light switches, baseboards, mirrors, and windows through the club.
Clean and sanitize toilets.
Washes tiles, tub, shower walls, wipe shower curtains and fixtures in the locker rooms.
Restock all areas with towels, wash cloths, soap, glasses and other supplies and amenities making sure it’s well supplied.
Vacuums, dust, and mop hallways, rugs, and floors daily.
Washes, dries, and folds laundry as needed.
Stock storage rooms.
Attends staff meetings.
Execute MaintainX work orders and program.
Must follow work assignments.
Checks lamps for burned-out light bulbs and reports to maintenance.
Must be polite and courteous when dealing with members and co-workers.
Must wear personal protective equipment as required, such as safety gloves and safety glasses.
