Our senior living community is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to help make our community feel like home for the residents we serve. Requirements

• Able to manage time effectively and complete assigned areas thoroughly
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions while completing cleaning tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25–30 pounds regularly and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds, with assistance when appropriate.
• Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts, vacuums, mop buckets, and other cleaning equipment.
• Ability to use hands and arms continuously for tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, wiping, scrubbing, dusting, and making beds.
• Ability to safely climb and use a step stool or small ladder when necessary.
• Ability to work around cleaning products, dust, odors, and other materials commonly encountered during housekeeping duties.
• Ability to perform physical tasks at a steady pace while moving throughout resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and other areas of the community.
• Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned resident rooms and common areas thoroughly and efficiently
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness with strong attention to detail
• Change linens and make residents' beds as needed
• Collect and remove trash
• Collect and transfer soiled laundry from resident neighborhoods
• Keep assigned areas clean, organized, and welcoming
• Follow established cleaning, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
• Be respectful and courteous when working in residents' homes and shared spaces
