About The Position

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is recruiting experienced Housekeeping Staff for a long-term care nursing facility in Hillsborough, New Jersey. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Staff may work in housekeeping, laundry, or floor care, helping maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, process linens and residents’ personal clothing, and maintain facility floors. Day and evening shifts are available, with alternating weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Nursing home, senior living, hospital, or healthcare experience required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of long-term care, hospital, or healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
• Dispose of trash, biohazard waste, and other materials.
• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
• Process facility linens and residents’ personal clothing.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers.
• Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Safely operate floor-care equipment, including an extractor, auto-scraper, high-speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
