About The Position

Dynamic Service Solutions (DSS) is seeking compassionate professionals to join their Children First Residential Care Program. This program partners with federal and local agencies to deliver high-quality human services, staffing, and program support nationwide. The role involves providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive care in a safe and supportive environment to help children move toward stability and family reunification. The organization is looking for individuals passionate about serving vulnerable populations and making a meaningful impact. Many roles require fluency in English and Spanish.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as Housekeeper.
• Ability to work with a variety of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and transmit complicated detailed instructions orally and in writing in English.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and converse proficiently in English and Spanish and translate written Spanish into English is preferred.
• The ability to read, comprehend, and transmit complicated detailed instructions orally and in writing in preferably in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned facilities as prescribed (includes: sweeping and mopping floors, dusting common areas, cleaning dry erase/chalkboards, cleaning furniture, toilet fixtures, basins, mirrors, lavatories, classrooms and offices, empty trash cans and bins and recycle paper receptors.).
• Check stocking levels of cleaning supplies and replace them when appropriate.
• Keep bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies, including replenishing dispensers as needed (includes paper towels, toilet tissue, trash can liners and hand soap).
• Ensure that facility service calls are responded to, scheduled and completed in a timely and proper manner that minimizes disruptions. Including all emergency issues.
• Perform major seasonal cleaning of carpets, classrooms, windows, exterior porches, stairs and handicap entrances.
