About The Position
Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is recruiting experienced Housekeeping Staff & Floor Tech for a long-term care nursing facility in Coal Township, PA. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including resident rooms, bathrooms, and public areas, as well as managing waste disposal. Floor Techs are responsible for all floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing, utilizing various specialized equipment. On-the-job training is provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffer.
Nice To Haves
- 1-year long-term care, hospital, or healthcare experienced preferred.
- Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain proper cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
- Dispose of trash, bio-hazard waste, and other materials.
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
- Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
- Maintain all floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
- Utilize and safely operate extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
