About The Position

To provide a clean and safe atmosphere for our guest and staff while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness throughout of facilities and grounds.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18+
  • General computer knowledge
  • Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
  • Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record , including height/weight guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Clean building floors, common areas, bathrooms, and rooms with sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
  • Stock restrooms, storage areas, and maintenance supplies with cleaning equipment.
  • Use property management system to identify and prioritize cleaning tasks.
  • Assist with room turnovers ("flipping") in hotel and bunk houses.
  • Maintain a cleaning log to track completed areas and inspections.
  • Report on unsafe conditions or required repairs to supervisors.
  • Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
  • Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership
  • Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
