About The Position

The Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel is looking for experienced and customer-service-oriented individuals to join their Housekeeping Team as a Guest Room Attendant. The Housekeeping team plays a crucial role in making hotel guests feel at home and ensuring they have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. This position contributes to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar position in a hotel is a plus.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Respect the importance that impeccably clean guest rooms and supplies have in a hotel.
• Willingness to perform physical work.
• Pride in organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of different days and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection of cleaned guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house.
• Ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards and regulations.
• Achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with assignments of special requests.
• Issue supplies to staff.
• Log items into the Lost & Found log as needed.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
