About The Position

The Housekeeping Room Inspector is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet Camelback Resort’s cleanliness and presentation standards. This role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional guest experience by conducting detailed inspections, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the housekeeping team in maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using computers and operational systems
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-hour shifts)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible availability including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of guests
  • Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to speak and read English; additional languages a plus
  • Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Smile and create a welcoming environment for guests and team members
  • Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to resort standards
  • Verify all amenities, linens, and supplies are properly stocked and presented
  • Identify and report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
  • Ensure rooms are guest-ready and released in a timely manner
  • Communicate inspection results clearly with Room Attendants and leadership
  • Support housekeeping team members by providing feedback and guidance to uphold quality standards
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of public areas as needed
  • Monitor and uphold sanitation and safety procedures
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to support guest needs
  • Report any guest concerns or issues to management promptly
  • Other duties as assigned
