Housekeeping Room Attendant (Part-Time) - Residence Inn by Marriott Asheville - Biltmore
About The Position
Picture Yourself at Biltmore Farms as part of the Vanderbilt legacy of hospitality! As a Room Attendant, you will clean rooms per assignment and per hotel standards. You will refer guest complaints concerning housekeeping service to the Lead Housekeeper and notify the Lead Housekeeper of any needed repairs. You will help guests and associates in every way possible when called upon, treating each hotel guest like a house guest. You will also bring lost items to the attention of the Lead Housekeeper. The cleanliness of our facilities is of the utmost importance, and as the Room Attendant, you are a huge part of our clean team. Successful candidates must be strong team players.
Requirements
- No formal education is required.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds.
- Must be capable of constant walking, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to work with cleaning products and solvents regularly.

Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in hotel housekeeping a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent and previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of standard cleaning techniques and hospitality industry standards is a plus.
