About The Position

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, ensuring compliance with luxury service standards. This role involves practicing safety standards, respecting guest property, responding to guest requests, and maintaining an orderly work environment. The attendant will inspect linens, check equipment, and perform thorough cleaning of rooms, including bathrooms and balconies.

Requirements

Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule; follows procedures for clocking in and out, completion of time edit sheets, and PTO request forms if applicable.
Cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Practice safety standards at all times, including constant awareness of safety hazards and reporting them to appropriate departments.
Follow all training procedures set forth by hotel & OSHA requirements.
Follow all Loss Prevention procedures regarding guest property, exercising absolute respect for guest property.
Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Attend mandatory hotel/departmental meetings.
Respond to all guest requests appropriately, efficiently within the time allotment, and remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and fellow associates at all times.
Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked at all times.
Inspect room linens before placing in rooms.
Check all equipment prior to and after its use to ensure that it is in good working order and completes required engineering report as needed.
Ensure thorough cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms (including bathrooms, balconies, and room furnishings).
Comply with the hotels luxury service standards.
