The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation. This role plays a vital part in delivering the exceptional guest experience that defines a Forbes Five-Star resort. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment for every guest.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping, room attendant, hotel, hospitality, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and guest service skills.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work weekends and holidays.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

Clean and service guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms according to established luxury hospitality standards.
Change linens, make beds, replenish guest amenities, and refresh guest rooms.
Conduct self-inspections to ensure rooms meet quality and cleanliness standards.
Organize and stock housekeeping carts, supply rooms, and linen closets.
Complete daily assignments and required documentation accurately and efficiently.
Report maintenance concerns, damages, and room discrepancies to Housekeeping leadership.
Respond promptly to guest requests and special service needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas and storage areas.
Assist with special cleaning projects and support other housekeeping team members as needed.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
