About The Position

The Westin Tempe is looking for a FT - PM Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our amazing Housekeeping Team! This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the guest rooms while providing prompt, courteous service to ensure an exceptional guest experience. As a Room Attendant, you will be the key part of delivering both Marriott and Crescent's high standards of hospitality.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in English
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
• Ability to communicate well with guests
• Willingness to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment
• Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces
• Remain professional at all times
• Treat all guests and associates with courtesy and respect, under all circumstances
• Meet and strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality and attendance
• Adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones
• Ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job
• Ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the guest rooms
• Providing prompt, courteous service to ensure an exceptional guest experience
• Delivering both Marriott and Crescent's high standards of hospitality
• Adhering to hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
