About The Position

The team at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Diego Mission Valley is searching for room attendants. This 300-room hotel is conveniently located by the Mission Valley Freeway and steps from the trolley. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays, have a minimum of 6 months of housekeeping or cleaning experience, and the ability to read English signs and communicate courteously in basic conversations.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
• Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
• Dispose of trash and recyclables
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Perform guest turn down service, as needed
