About The Position

The Inn at Ole Miss is seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas. This role involves using equipment and supplies to clean facilities, manage waste and recyclables, monitor entrances, and maintain supply areas. The attendant will also document inventory, report maintenance needs, and ensure entrances are clear of debris, snow, and ice. Room attendants are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing guest supplies. They must also ensure room equipment is in good working order and report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Utilizes equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables.
Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances, reports issues to appropriate entities.
Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory and requests additional supplies as needed.
Documents and reports repairs, violations and pest control needs.
Maintains clean and clear entrances to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow and ice.
Clock in at their scheduled time to clean and sanitize guest rooms.
Making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms.
Replenish guest room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and amenities.
Ensure all room equipment and fixtures are in good working order.
Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Clean guest rooms.
