About The Position
The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role involves maintaining the appearance and functionality of guest rooms, restocking amenities, managing laundry and linen, and contributing to overall hotel cleanliness and guest experience. The position is part-time and offers a compensation range of $15.25/hr, with the final pay determined by factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
- Customer service mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, bend, squat, and be on feet for the entire shift.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and public areas, ensuring beds are made, bathrooms are sparkling, and surfaces are free of dust.
- Restock towels, toiletries, and amenities in guest rooms.
- Sort laundry, operate laundry machines safely, and handle linen with care.
- Keep the housekeeping cart and closets organized.
- Assist with deep cleaning, special projects, and team training as needed.
