About The Position

River Sands RV Resort is seeking a Full Time Housekeeping Public Space Associate to join their award-winning team. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of the resort's public spaces, ensuring guests have a positive experience. The position involves cleaning and maintaining common areas such as bathhouses, laundry facilities, clubhouse, offices, and retail store, as well as operating commercial laundry equipment. The associate will also assist with housekeeping in vacation rentals during peak times and help maintain the overall resort grounds. Requirements

Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, or cleaning experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Friendly, positive attitude with a guest-service mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday.
Ability to safely work with cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming environment by ensuring resort facilities are clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
Take pride in maintaining a positive first impression throughout the resort.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain all public areas including bathhouses, restrooms, laundry facilities, clubhouse, offices, retail store, and other common areas.
Perform sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, disinfecting, polishing, buffing, and washing of surfaces as needed.
Clean windows, mirrors, fixtures, and glass surfaces to ensure a polished appearance.
Monitor public spaces throughout the day and address cleanliness needs proactively.
Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
Report maintenance concerns, repairs, or safety issues to the Manager on Duty.
Launder linens, towels, blankets, and other soft goods used throughout vacation rentals and resort facilities.
Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain organized linen and supply storage areas.
Follow all safety procedures and company standards regarding cleaning practices and chemical handling.
Properly use and store cleaning products, equipment, and supplies.
Place caution signs in work areas to ensure guest and associate safety and remove them when appropriate.
Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, incidents, or defective equipment.
Assist with housekeeping duties in vacation rentals and accommodations during peak occupancy periods or business needs.
Help maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the resort grounds and facilities.
Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
