About The Position

We are searching for a Housekeeper aide to support the functions of our facility. The primary purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the department as directed by the Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
  • Work well with team members.
  • Follow proper infection control protocols.
  • Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, mopping and dusting
  • Collect and remove trash and debris.
  • Attend department and staff meetings as directed or called.
  • Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments; non-routine assignments as directed.
  • Perform assigned tasks in accordance with established cleaning and disinfecting procedures and facility policies.
  • Label or mark personal articles of clothing (blankets, sweaters, etc.) for laundry with identifying information including name, barcode or reference number as appropriate.
  • Record production and inventory information in accordance with facility policies (i.e., pounds of laundry, loads, etc.).
  • Prepare linen and supply order to meet established par levels as directed by the Laundry Supervisor to replenish stock and/or replace frayed or torn items.
