About The Position

The Housekeeping Personnel will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment within the Windmill Village Rehabilitation and Care Center. This role involves performing various cleaning duties, including floor care, and adhering to safety and infection control practices. The position requires the ability to work independently and efficiently, with a strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• Knowledge of floor care procedures and cleaning techniques.
• Ability to safely operate floor maintenance equipment.
• Understanding of chemical safety and infection control practices.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate commercial floor cleaning equipment safely.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions throughout the facility.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous floor care, housekeeping, custodial, or environmental services experience.
• Experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing environment.
