About The Position

Housekeepers perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep spaces sanitary and orderly.

Requirements

• Reliability and time management to complete tasks efficiently
• Physical stamina for lifting, bending, standing, and handling cleaning equipment for extended periods
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures to maintain hygiene and prevent accidents
• Flexibility and teamwork, especially in hotels or large facilities where coordination with other staff is essential
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning and organizing

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing rooms, bathrooms, dining, common areas, and workspaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing
• Making beds and changing linens, ensuring fresh bedding and towels are available for guests or residents
• Emptying trash and recycling, and properly disposing of waste
• Restocking supplies such as toiletries, linens, and minibar items in hotels or offices
• Inspecting rooms and equipment for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance needs, and reporting issues to management
• Laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and treating stains on linens and clothing
• Special projects or non-routine tasks, such as deep cleaning, seasonal maintenance, or preparing spaces for events
