The Housekeeping Manager will monitor Guest Room Attendants to ensure highest productivity levels and supervise Status Board Operators to ensure all available rooms are cleaned and any discrepancies are reconciled. This role involves maintaining strict key, beeper, and radio control, as well as managing all housekeeping equipment and inventory. The manager will also monitor and track all heavy cleaning projects pertaining to drapes, carpets, furniture, and general cleaning. Responsibilities include performing room inspections, evaluating the performance of Assistant Housekeepers, Guest Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Uniform Room Attendants, and counseling Team Members constructively. Ensuring all Team Members complete OSHA regulations training and communicating effectively with all Hotel departments are also key aspects of this position.
