About The Position

The Housekeeping Manager will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring service standards are followed. This role involves addressing guest concerns, overseeing the preparation of VIP and show rooms, and training the team in proper procedures and equipment use. The manager will also liaise with other departments to coordinate guest service and resolve issues promptly, while consistently offering professional, friendly, and engaging service.

Requirements

• A proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; works well under pressure
• Minimum of 2 –3 years’ experience in Rooms Division position with proven training and team building skills
• Highly organized, results-oriented, able to make decisions and empower employees to ensure that they exceed guest expectations
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills – sets the example for “team”
• Proactive with a meticulous eye for detail – standards oriented

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the department and ensure service standards are followed
• Address guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper departments as required
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Oversee the daily preparation of all VIP and show rooms
• Assist in training the team in proper procedures and correct use of equipment to establish departmental efficiencies
• Liaise with Front Office, Engineering and other related departments to coordinate guest service and resolve emerging issues promptly
