About The Position

Providence Place in Hazleton (Drums) is seeking to recruit an energetic Housekeeping Manager. This role is responsible for hiring, mentoring, and coaching co-workers, overseeing the daily management of the housekeeping department, and performing daily housekeeping duties. The position starts at $20/hour and operates from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with availability to work every weekend and every holiday.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Housekeeping experience.
Some supervisory experience.
Outgoing personality.
Solid communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Neat, clean appearance.
Positive, cheerful attitude.
Basic knowledge of computers.

Nice To Haves

Self-supervising/motivating.
Good listener, mediator, and empathetic.
Knowledge of housekeeping operations.

Responsibilities

Hiring, mentoring, and coaching co-workers.
Overseeing daily management of the housekeeping department.
Performing daily housekeeping duties.
Communicating effectively with the administrative team to coordinate/facilitate daily housekeeping services.
Providing extra housekeeping support for special campus events.
Interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
Relaying team concepts to all housekeeping staff and other co-workers.
Maintaining commitment to confidentiality regarding resident and co-worker information.
