About The Position

As a Housekeeping/Maintenance Supervisor, you will serve as the operational backbone of our Facility Management Program, providing direct supervision and leadership to maintenance technicians, mobile equipment technicians, housekeeping personnel, and industrial cleaning staff. In this critical role, you will ensure seamless facility operations by managing vendor contracts, executing strategic projects, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and equipment reliability. Your expertise in building systems, environmental compliance, and team leadership will directly contribute to JLL's reputation for operational excellence, enabling our clients to focus on their core business while we deliver world-class facilities management that exceeds expectations every day.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with demonstrated knowledge of building operations and maintenance practices
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or related operations with verifiable supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong organizational and management skills with proven ability to direct staff, manage multiple priorities, and execute projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) for effective coordination with building occupants, vendors, contractors, and management teams
  • Computer proficiency for documentation, building automation systems, inventory management, and reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations including OSHA, HAZMAT compliance, and life/safety system requirements
  • Experience with building mechanical systems including HVAC/R, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation/monitoring systems

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in HVAC/R, electrical systems, or building automation systems (e.g., EPA Universal CFC, HVAC Excellence, BAS certifications)
  • Experience managing preventative maintenance programs using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or similar platforms
  • Background in fleet management including scheduled preventative maintenance, repair coordination, and equipment uptime monitoring
  • Familiarity with ISO compliance programs and environmental management initiatives in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Experience in automotive, aerospace, or heavy manufacturing facilities with understanding of production support and industrial cleaning operations
  • Knowledge of energy conservation initiatives and building performance optimization strategies
  • Current forklift, aerial lift, or mobile equipment operator certifications for hands-on operational support when needed

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct facility operations teams including JLL Maintenance Technicians, Mobile Equipment Technicians, General Housekeeping Personnel, and Industrial Cleaning & Water Blasting staff to ensure efficient daily operations and adherence to safety standards
  • Manage building mechanical, power, and life/safety systems including HVAC/R, temperature control, building automation systems, electrical substations, emergency power systems, fire sprinkler systems, and smoke/fire detection to maintain optimal facility performance
  • Oversee vendor contracts and coordinate outside contractors to execute maintenance projects, emergency repairs, and specialized services while ensuring work quality, timeliness, and compliance with client specifications
  • Execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs for building systems, mobile equipment fleet, and industrial cleaning operations while maintaining comprehensive documentation and managing spare parts inventories
  • Address operational issues and communicate regularly with building occupants regarding project status, equipment performance, and facility improvements while conducting safe operating tours and resolving building operational challenges
  • Ensure environmental health and safety compliance by managing waste removal, OSHA/State/Local regulations, HAZMAT compliance, ISO standards, and environmental emergency response protocols
  • Provide management coverage and project leadership including weekend production support, completion of inspections, supply ordering, safety tours, and regular coordination with Site Managers on outstanding issues and strategic initiatives
