About The Position

The Housekeeping – Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members and guests. This role is essential in creating a positive first impression of the club by ensuring all areas are consistently clean, organized, and well-maintained. As a key part of the member experience, the Housekeeping Associate plays an important role in supporting the company’s brand promise of “Making People Feel Comfortable” and our core purpose of “Changing People’s Lives.” This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in cleanliness, enjoy staying active, and have a strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred
  • Customer service experience is a plus
  • CPR/AED Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a clean, sanitary, and well-maintained facility at all times
  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service
  • Consistently meet or exceed cleanliness standards
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of all assigned areas throughout the club
  • Clean and disinfect cardio equipment, including frames and foot pedals
  • Empty trash bins and remove debris, including maintaining outdoor areas such as parking lots
  • Ensure all surfaces (glass, doors, ledges, corners) are free of dust, smudges, and dirt
  • Re-rack weights and organize fitness equipment across all workout areas and studios
  • Clean and disinfect locker rooms, including lockers, cubbies, and common areas
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment for all members
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and cleaning protocols
  • Assist members with basic questions and provide directions as needed
  • Monitor equipment cleanliness and report maintenance or repair needs
  • Keep cleaning and maintenance records accurate and up to date
  • Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Support and promote a positive team environment
  • Recognize and celebrate behaviors aligned with company values and standards
