About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel, while also providing exceptional service to guests. The Housekeeping Lobby/House Attendant acts as an advocate for the hotel, creates personalized guest experiences, and builds relationships that encourage guest loyalty and return visits.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in customer service or a similar position.
  • Passion for customer service.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Basic writing skills.
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma is preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the cleanliness of the lobby, hallways, public areas, including the sidewalk, brass awning poles, signage, entrance, and alley.
  • Clean and set up meeting room functions according to function sheets.
  • Perform deep cleaning of assigned areas, including shampooing rooms and public spaces.
  • Set up and maintain complimentary hotel lobby functions such as morning coffee service and nightly concierge events.
  • Deliver housekeeping items (hair dryers, ironing boards, irons, etc.) to guest rooms upon request from the front desk.
  • Obtain assignments, keys, pager, and special guest requests from the supervisor at the beginning of the shift.
  • Check and replenish supplies and cleaning tools.
  • Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
  • Return lost items with proper documentation to the Housekeeping Department.
  • Take on responsibilities outside of the job post as needed, as all employees do.
