About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician (EVS Tech) is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role involves routine cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining the cleanliness of hospital rooms, corridors, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards and procedures. The Environmental Services Technician plays a crucial role in infection control, patient safety, and overall hospital cleanliness.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Housekeeping preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital infection control standards, cleaning practices, and the proper use of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a respectful manner
