About The Position

La Posada at Pusch Ridge in Oro Valley, AZ is looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join their team as a Full-Time Lead Housekeeper. In this role, the Lead Housekeeper will lead daily housekeeping operations, supervise a dedicated team of housekeepers, and help ensure the campus remains clean, welcoming, and comfortable. This position offers a consistent 40-hour workweek with 8-hour day shifts, providing stability and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

Supports and oversees daily housekeeping functions within their assigned areas.
Conducts quality control inspections as assigned.
Performs routine procedures of a maintenance and corrective nature within assigned area of responsibility.
Advises Supervisor of supplies/chemicals/equipment needs and/or concerns.
Conducts training of new personnel.
Utilizes and maintains equipment properly.
Ability to adjust to changing situations and needs.
Participates in other duties, as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time, which you are qualified for and can reasonably be expected to complete with minimal orientation.
Follows all Infection Control practices, including hand washing techniques; standard precautions; isolation precautions; and safety precautions at all times.
Demonstrates personal responsibility and respect for self and others.
Adheres to all Department policies, procedures, and mandatory requirements.
Communicates professionally and courteously with residents, staff, family members, and guests.
Demonstrates excellence in customer service.
Maintains age specific safety precautions including: Elderly – No small or sharp objects or tools that may injure residents or visitors will be left out. Cleaning carts will not be left unattended. Keeps hallways and pathways clear of debris, cleaning equipment, and tools. Environmental Service closets will remain locked at all times.
