About The Position
The Housekeeping Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting laundry by color, fabric, and level of soiling to ensure proper cleaning. This role involves operating commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment. The attendant will also fold, press, and organize linen, maintain laundry carts and closets with necessary supplies, and support general housekeeping by keeping public areas tidy and assisting where needed. This is a part-time position.
Requirements
- Laundry or cleaning experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Physically capable – Able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet moving throughout your shift.
- Flexible availability – Mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Sort laundry by color, fabric, and level of “what happened here?” to ensure proper cleaning.
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment.
- Fold, press, and organize linen.
- Maintain laundry carts and closets with the right supplies—neatly and efficiently.
- Support general housekeeping by keeping public areas tidy and jumping in where needed.
