About The Position
The Sioux Falls Sheraton is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Laundry Attendant. This role is crucial in ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of hotel linens and supporting the overall housekeeping operations. The position involves sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing laundry, as well as maintaining laundry supplies and assisting with general housekeeping tasks. Requirements
- Laundry or cleaning experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Detail-oriented mindset.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and staying on your feet moving throughout your shift.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Sort laundry by color, fabric, and level of soiling to ensure proper cleaning.
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment.
- Fold, press, and organize linen neatly.
- Maintain laundry carts and closets with the right supplies, ensuring they are neat and efficient.
- Support general housekeeping by keeping public areas tidy and assisting where needed.
