About The Position
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the facility, including resident/patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas by following policies/procedures and infection control guidelines. This role primarily involves housekeeping duties but may include filling in for laundry tasks as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Completes resident discharges and prepares the room for next admission.
- Ensures all areas are properly stocked with items such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Operates and cares for all housekeeping equipment including vacuums, housekeeping carts, carpet cleaning machines, etc.
